The purpose of this five-day course is to prepare you for the Yachtmaster Offshore exam. The exam will include a practical assessment of your skippering skills, boat handling, general seamanship, navigation, safety awareness and knowledge of the IRPCS, meteorology and signals.

50 days at sea. 2,500 sea miles including at least 5 passages over 60 miles. Two of the passages should be ‘overnight’ and for two of the passages you should have acted as skipper. At least half of the mileage and passages must have been conducted in tidal waters. You will also need a VHF Radio Licence and a First Aid Certificate |
